ADDING YOUR PHOTO
Adding your "Members Area" Photo or changing an existing one is very easy!
Click on "Settings" top right of Website, click on "Browse" - which opens up your own Computer's files, pick your Photo & Click "Open" - which inserts the Photo.
Finally, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page.
YOUR "MY PAGE" - AN AREA FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL PHOTOS & PROFILE SPECIFIC TO YOU
On your own "My Page" beneath your "Profile Information" (items with a padlock are only visible to you) & above "My Photos" there is a box for you to enter a Personal Profile & add Photos (specific to you - i.e. holiday pics, family/pets, additional pics you want to show to other Members).
To add Photos use the "Image" box which opens your computer & lets you "browse" & "open" your pics to "add". You also choose how you want to "Layout" the Photo/s against any Text you'll be adding.
When you've finished - you must click "Save".
(Tip: you may find adding text & photos (using 150 pixels) in stages & saving each time & returning to edit is easier!)
SENDING MESSAGES TO OTHER MEMBERS IS EASY!
Simply hover & click on the Member's Photo & it will bring up a message box (Comment Wall - at the bottom of their "My Page") letting you send them a message! This will be visible on their "My Page" for all to read!
PRIVATE MESSAGES!
Private Messages can be sent to your "Friends" by clicking on their Photo & using the "Send Message" on the left side of their "My Page". So you need to be "Friends" with each other to use Private Messaging!
ADDING A COMMENT TO AN EXISTING BLOG POST
Click on the "Heading", type your message/reply into the "Add A Comment" box & Click "Add Comment".
READING ALL COMMENTS ON EXISTING BLOG POSTS
Click on the Underlined word "Comments" & all will appear underneath the original message.
ADDING A NEW TOPIC BLOG POST (Your message to all Members)
Click on "Add A Blog Post", Enter the Heading (Post Title), Type your message (Entry) & Click "Publish Post"
USING THE FORUM
Click on "Discussion Title" (heading) & type your reply beneath or "+ Add A Discussion" with your New "Discussion Title" (heading), type your text beneath & Click "Add Discussion".
USING LIVE CHAT
You can either Click on the top "Chat" tab on this Home Page or use the bottom line of the Home/My Page page.
The "left hand box" indicates who's online, i.e. 3 online, also your computer speakers will bleep if others are chatting!
You can send a message by typing in the bottom right box & "press your enter key".
Your text appears in the right hand box. The other Members can then respond & their reply appears beneath your message!
Remember:
All Messages are open to all Members to read - unless you click on a Member's Name & opt to have a "Private Chat" by clicking on the arrow & then on "Start Chat".
LEAVING MEET NORWICH
Click "Settings" - top of the Home Page, at the bottom of the Settings Page - Click "Leave Meet Norwich" (this is underlined).
A box appears asking whether you want to leave Meet Norwich - Click "Leave" - this takes a few minutes to complete!
