When I come along for the first time how will I recognise the Group?
We always offer the Host's mobile number for you to call/text when you arrive at an Event. They can meet you at the door & introduce you to the other members.
Can I bring a friend along?
Yes, we always welcome potential new members.

WEBSITE TIPS
ADDING/ALTERING YOUR MEMBERS AREA PHOTO
This is very easy!.
Click on "Settings" top right
To the Right of the Photo Symbol - Click on "Browse"
Pick a Photo from Your Computer Files (Click "Open")
Upload your photo from your computer files
Finally Click on "Save" - bottom of page
(The change/addition should be almost instant!)
UPLOADING PHOTOS PERSONAL TO YOU & YOUR OWN PROFILE
Go to "My Page" & beneath Personal Profile is either "Your Box" or "Text Box" - this allows you to provide details about yourself, so other Members can get to know you!
Also, you can add your own Personal Photos by clicking on the "Camera Symbol".
When adding Photos by clicking on "Options" you can add many Photos as "Thumbnails" & wrap the Pics around your Text.
Tip! Also Change the pixels to 150, that allows more Photos!
JOINING GROUPS
The advantage of joining Groups is that you are automatically emailed when any Member posts a message, for example, about a Last Minute Event, Walks & Short Breaks/Holiday Details available!
ALTERING YOUR MEMBER SCREEN NAME
Click on "Settings" top right of Home Page, Delete Full Name (beneath Password) & enter your actual Christian Name (If a popular name - we'd suggest using the first letter of your surname!) Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
UPDATING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS OR MOBILE NUMBER
Click "Settings" top right of Home Page, Delete Old Details, Enter New Details & Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
MEET NORWICH - SOCIAL GROUP FOR 40 TO 50's AGES
Whether you have relocated to the City of Norwich (UK), or find you need an extra circle of friends to have fun with, Meet Norwich aims to cater for your needs.
As a result, the group has a good balance of Members from a variety of backgrounds.
With no set age limit, Meet Norwich attracts people in the age ranges from 40 to 50's & aims to have a healthy balance of Men & Women.
The Group consists of mainly singles, brought together by the desire to Meet, Socialise, & thoroughly Enjoy themselves.
Each month we aim to arrange a variety of different events, ranging from meals out, dances, pub nights, live comedy, local live bands, walks, theatre, movies, bowling, quiz nights & many more!
New members are always welcome & the Host's name & mobile number for each event is provided. So when you come along you can call/text the Host & quickly be introduced to the other members.
Meet Norwich offers "FREE" Membership & is run by the members for the members. We encourage members to arrange regular & last minute events, which helps add event variety.
Groups appear within the Website for Last Minute Events, Short Breaks/Holidays, & Walks, all Members can join these & be notified whenever Events are posted by their fellow Members.
All Members have their own "My Page" which they can personalise. Also they can add photos, background details & what leisure activities they enjoy doing into their "Text Box", this enables Members to get to know each other more easily.
Members also have the opportunity to send messages to each other, comment on Events - past & present & use the Blog Post at the bottom of this Home Page.

Badminton
Hi
Is there anybody who plays badminton and would like to make up a foursome with myself and Derek Hewis - if get plenty of replies can book extra courts and we can swap around. Probably play on a Monday night at UEA.

Starting next week!!!!!
In case you are unaware the 'Double bubble' starts next week........Buy one lesson and get 2nd lesson half price. The cheap lesson must be used in the same week and cannot be used on a Monday evening Although, it can be purchased on Mondays. A good opportunity for twice a week dancing!

SENDING MESSAGES TO OTHER MEMBERS IS EASY!
Simply hover & click on the Member's Photo & it will bring up a message box (Comment Wall - at the bottom of their "My Page") letting you send them a message! This will be visible on their "My Page" for all to read!
PRIVATE MESSAGES!
Private Messages can be sent to your "Friends" by clicking on their Photo & using the "Send Message" on the left side of their "My Page". So you need to be "Friends" with each other to use Private Messaging!

To view & read all the questions & answers Click on "continue" beneath the answer to "Can I Bring A Friend Along".
TO ADD YOUR COMMENT ABOUT AN EVENT
Click on the Event listed on the left (or if a past Event click any mention in Latest Activity) & add your message on the "Comment Wall" & click on "Add Comment"! This will now appear on the "Latest Activity" on our Home Page.
You always need to respond to the RSVP first to allow the "Comment Wall" box to appear!
ADDING A COMMENT TO AN EXISTING BLOG POST
Click on the "Heading", type your message/reply into the "Add A Comment" box & Click "Add Comment".
READING ALL COMMENTS ON EXISTING BLOG POSTS
Click on the Underlined word "Comments" & all will appear underneath the original message.
ADDING A NEW TOPIC BLOG POST
Click on "Add A Blog Post", Enter the Heading (Post Title), Type your message (Entry) & Click "Publish Post"
LEAVING MEET NORWICH
Click "Settings" - top of the Home Page, at the bottom of the Settings Page - Click "Leave Meet Norwich" (this is underlined).
A box appears asking whether you want to leave Meet Norwich - Click "Leave" - this takes a few minutes to complete!
